A Brief Biography: 
Hello! I’m a recently retired Emergency Medicine physician with an alternate identity as a medical IT guy, and this is my website. I went to Medical School at the University of Massachusetts and did my residency training at the University of Chicago. After residency, I practiced in Massachusetts (where I grew up) at a private teaching hospital affiliated with Harvard Medical School for some thirty years. For the last 20 years of my working career I developed and supported an EMR used by the Emergency Department and urgent care center there, software used to document over 960,000 patient visits before the hospital transitioned to Epic in 2017. I live in Massachusetts and enjoy running, reading, hiking and the outdoors, and all things Apple/Macintosh. This site is a hobby, one where I’ll explore various web constructions and occasionally comment on things that strike me.
